The holidays are a favorite time of the year for so many of us and I completely understand why. Coming together with family and friends to make those magical memories is just the best! Bundling up for the snowy weather, getting cozy by the fire with a book, making cookies to share with family and friends, and of course, finding the perfect gifts for those you love.
Gift giving isn't always easy- we all have those loved ones that we have trouble finding the perfect gift for.
My suggestion: local art markets!
Not only are art markets the perfect places to find those thoughtful gifts for the person who is tricky to gift for, but they really get you into the holiday spirit. The wide range of artists and products that are presented help spark those ideas that lead to finding the perfect gifts.  These markets are full of holiday cheer and provide a great way to support your local community.

Without further ado, here's our Bucket List for the most amazing holiday markets!
~
DULUTH
Duluth is one of the best places in the state during the holiday season. The beautiful snow-covered trees and freezing lake provide the best place for many to find that holiday joy. Bentleyville Tour of Lights is a draw for so many people, adults and kids alike come to walk through the magical light display on the edge of the water. If you come up anytime in December, I highly suggest planning your trip to hit a few markets. Duluth Winter Village is truly one of the most magical events of the year. This show is on the first weekend of December and sits on the bayside of the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center, right under the mighty and picturesque lift bridge. This show is all about local love. Set outside along Duluth's harbor, little wooden cabins make you feel transported to a holiday wonderland.
Our store has been a part of the Duluth Winter Village since 2018, and we are happy to be back again this year curating the North & Shore Market with 13 different local artisans and our mobile store too.
 Saturday & Sunday December 2nd-3rd
10am-5pm DECC
Lincoln Park Craft District is where we call home. Join us here at Enger Lofts for our annual Deck the Halls event, now apart of the neighborhood holiday market. The whole neighborhood will be filled with local artists, festive + cozy fun for everyone. Saturday December 9th from 10-4 in the Lincoln Park Craft District. Find more updates on our social media.
Saturday, December 16th, 10am-5pm St. Louis County Depot
TWIN CITIES
Growing up in St.Paul, I remember going to the local holiday market each year with my mom. Holidazzle was always what my family made sure to do each year. We would spend all day shopping around, drinking hot chocolate, and thinking through those thoughtful gifts, then end the night watching the magical parade in Downtown Minneapolis. Not only can you find gifts that are unique and thoughtful, you are supporting your local community. Although Holidazzle is taking a break this year, there are so many really great events happening all over the twin cities!
Friday, December 1st from 4pm-8 pm and Saturday December 2nd from 10am-4pm
This show has been happening since 2005 and is back for their 18th year of sharing local arts and crafts among amazing food at the Midtown Global Market in Minneapolis.
December 2nd & 3rd American Swedish Museum
Julmarknad is a traditional Scandinavian outdoor holiday market. You can enjoy musical performance, family crafts, story time, and amazing locally handcrafted goods.
