We are Scott & Sara and we are honored to be the owners of North & Shore. Our story began here in Duluth when Scott, a junior at the University of Minnesota Duluth spotted me (Sara) from across the room at a social gathering. He thought I was cute. I thought he had bad hair. But, a little time and a haircut later, we fell in love with each other and have since planted our roots in the city that we love - Duluth. We started our shop in 2017 out of a love for the North Shore and a passion for the handmade goods that are created here. Over the past few years, our shop has operated out of the cute little vintage camper called Makers Mercantile. Fast forward to 2022, we are celebrating 10 years of marriage, have 4 amazing children, and our mobile store has recently expanded into a new and beautiful Brick and Mortar space, North & Shore. Our local + wilds goods shop aims to be a place where makers are celebrated, visitors are inspired, and locals feel right at home. Welcome North!
