We turned 6! North & Shore's Birthday Bash Recap

Hey there folks, it's Olivia!

If you didn't hear, we just celebrated our sixth year in business. And we threw a fun + festive shindig to celebrate. 

Over the last several years North & Shore has grown a ton as a business and team!  Running a small business is not for the faint of heart but certainly is rewarding, a reality we feel often around here.

Fun Fact: I joined our team because I came in for the very first store event at Enger Lofts. I fell in love with our little handmade treasure box of a shop, and I needed to work here. Now I do. ;) 

What a day filled with so much fun! Our hearts are all truly full of gratitude for this shop and our community for your support throughout the years. Let's recap the day together.

It was such a gift to have one of our makers come in for some live art during the event. Andrea with Andi Designs brought in her sewing machine to share her creativity at work. 

We also enjoyed lovely live music throughout the day from local musicians Dan Pugleasa + Ashe Berton. 

We had yummy fall tarts baked by your favorite Scandinavian bakery, The Norse Bakehouse! Always a hit!! Our team loves them, we definitely recommend working with them for any of your events. 

A crowd favorite was the temporary tattoo booth. Everyone was getting fresh (temporary) ink on Saturday. Don't worry, y'all loved it so much, we will for sure do this again at future events- so much fun!!

 

It was so sweet to see the little ones explore around the shop for a scavenger hunt and the beaming joy on their faces when they discovered what they had been hunting for. And proud smiling faces picking out their prizes when they had finished.

Our special Superior Hiking Trail raffle has been running all month! If you haven't entered yet, you have until this Saturday (9/30). All the proceeds go to the SHT Association. You can purchase raffle tickets in person and online- one for $3, or two for $5! Check out all you can win below while supporting a stellar local trail.

 It was a rainy day on the North Shore on Saturday, so you may have missed our little mobile camper popped up in the back with some discounted goodies. But don't fret, we will bring that back again soon!!

Olivia Cahoon  is North & Shore’s Social Media + Marketing Specialist. She joined our team back in June 2022. She has a huge passion for loving + serving people in everyday life.  Her main focus in life is living in gratitude. When she’s not in the shop, or working from home- you can find her probably watching The Office with her Aussie Selah, soaking up all the time with her loved ones, tending to her mini-jungle of plants +  praising Jesus for his faithfulness in her life.
